SCFCA AC Guidelines

The Spring Creek Forest Civic Association Architectural Control Guidelines, approved by the SCF Board on January 26, 2021, were recorded in Harris County on March 1, 2021.  They are available on the website under documents. The Board would like to extend a big thank you to all who were involved in the drafting, editing, and incorporating of resident’s suggested comments into these guidelines. We hope this document provides clarity on the ACC approval process for changes and improvements to homeowner’s properties.

Neighborhood Safety

If You Are Concerned, Call It in!

Some residents may have heard about the incidents of shots fired in Spring Creek Forest over the past couple months.  There were no injuries, but one residence sustained property damage to a window.  The Sheriff’s department has confirmed that SCF is still one of the safest neighborhoods to live in Spring, TX.  The contract with the Harris County Sheriff's Office is the Association's largest expense and we believe it has been a very effective crime deterrent.  With the exception of these recent serious incidents, we have very little crime in our community.  The Board has ordered additional signage notifying those entering the neighborhood that it is actively patrolled by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and will be discussing other possible security measures in our upcoming Board meeting. We strongly encourage residents to call law enforcement immediately if you see or hear anything suspicious.  It is better to be safe than sorry.  The Sheriff's non-emergency number is 713-221-6000 and in an emergency, dial 911.  In an instance of a dog attack, please contact Harris County Animal Control at 281-999-3191 and the Sheriff.  These numbers are also listed in the monthly newsletter.  Please DO NOT contact Sterling or Board members in these situations.  The Board continues to communicate and work with our HCSO contract officers and will continue to make safety a priority in our community.

2021 Assessments

If you have not paid your Assessments in full, please pay or contact Sterling to arrange for a payment plan as soon as possible to avoid late fees and possible legal fees. The SCFCA is willing to work with residents during this difficult time.  So, please communicate with us so we can work together.  We do not want residents to incur additional costs. The Spring Creek Forest 2021 Assessment fee is $625, which is the same as last year. The Board worked very hard to avoid an increase due to the financial hardships some are faced with during the pandemic.  You may pay by credit card, debit card or e-check by logging into your account on the Sterling website at www.sterlingasi.net.  If you need your login and password, please contact springcreekforest@sterlingasi.com. There is a fee for credit card or debit card processing.  You may also pay by check, which you can mail to Sterling or drop in the black mailbox in front of the clubhouse.  If you have any questions, please contact Goldie Hassan at 832-678-5390 or email springcreekforest@sterlingasi.com.

SCF PUD Notice

Precautionary Boil Water Notice

In conjunction with City of Houston, we are issuing a precautionary boil water notice. It is recommended to boil water vigorously for 2 minutes before consumption. Please stay alert to your local news media for updated information regarding the precautionary boiling water notice.

Urgent Water Conservation Request

We are asking all residents to conserve water. The pressure in the District is currently adequate; however, it is lower than we would like.

To help maintain water pressure in the system during this winter weather event, please use water only for essential tasks. Please stop running water as a prevention for frozen pipes.  With the temperatures rising above freezing, you are not at risk.
If you are worried about your pipes freezing, please turn your house valve off and drain your service lines. If you have a water supply or sewer service issue, please contact our 24-hour emergency line at 281-651-1618.

Garbage Service

Texas Pride will resume regular garbage service on the next scheduled service day, Friday, February 19.  Recycling services are suspended until further notice.
